APC Steals Donald Trump’s Manifesto – “Promises To Keep America – Not Nigeria – Safe”

The All progressives Congress (APC) is under intense criticism on social media for allegedly plagiarizing their party manifesto.

Dear Nigerians,

Why will you vote a party that plagiarised an American manifesto? Look at the photo, then quickly go to the link (they will soon change it). They claim their first priority is to protect AMERICA! Obviously lifted from @RealDonaldTrump https://t.co/l9qO6JcC40pic.twitter.com/jCcFSL5lQI

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, had taken to his Twitter page last night to uncover how the ruling party ripped off their manifesto from Donald Trump.

He wrote: “Dear Nigerians,

“Why will you vote a party that plagiarised an American manifesto? Look at the photo, then quickly go to the link (they will soon change it). They claim their first priority is to protect AMERICA! Obviously lifted from.”

A quick check shows that the first paragraph of the power supply section of the party’s Next Level agenda published on apc.com.ng had remarkable similarities to what Trump had said on “keeping America safe and secure.”

Funny enough, the section begins with the statement, “Our first priority is keeping America safe and secure,” which indicates that it was copied and not edited before it was published.

Meanwhile, Nigerians on social media are currently not happy about the development.
